What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit our site. There are also similar technologies such as local storage, session storage and service workers. In this policy, we refer to all of these simply as “cookies”.

Which cookies do we use?

Which data do we process when you use the site?

On first and further use, we may, where legally permitted or after your consent, register limited technical data such as IP address, user agent (browser/OS), language and screen resolution. This helps with security, troubleshooting and basic statistics. For push notifications we store an anonymous or pseudonymous push key, not the content of messages on your device.

Legal basis

Necessary: performance of a contract or our legitimate interest (security, basic operation).
Preferences / Statistics / Marketing: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.

Third parties

Where we work with trusted providers (e.g. analytics or push providers), we sign data processing agreements and limit data to what is necessary. These parties may be located inside or outside the EU/EEA; in such cases we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

Managing your choices

Cookie preferences: via our cookie banner/settings (where available).
Browser settings: you can block/delete cookies and revoke permissions for notifications (push):
- Chrome/Edge/Firefox/Safari: Settings → Privacy/Security → Cookies & Site data.
- Push: Settings → Privacy/Site settings → Notifications → revoke or block.

Retention periods

We do not keep cookies and related data longer than necessary for their purpose: functional (session/preferences) typically up to 12 months; statistics according to the tool configuration; marketing/push until withdrawal or expiry of consent.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, restrict, transfer and – where applicable – erase your personal data. You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Belgium).
